Hi, Haven't posted for a while but am have just got my own case manager and am now beginning the wait for creditor's meetings and decisions. A long but positive road ahead. I have just missed the first round of payments and Barclays must have me on speed dial!! And the effort to save the trees is futile after all the letters I am getting. Buckle that seatbelt indeed! So, I have also moved and am trying to prioritise what I need most. My boyfriend and I had an amicable ish split and have divided up what we can. I am very glad to have a bed and an oven but no tv is killing me! There is only so much radio I can tolerate. But also no washing machine, any ideas if you can still rent one? And whether I can get approval to rent one? Costs?
But, on the brightside the weather is gorgeous and reading is free. I have just splashed out on a frying pan and sat eating eggs on toast in my garden. Now off to the library......
PS it's so lovely to be able to come on here and vent a little. Have just seen that my ex has booked a holiday to Thailand which makes me down. Note to self, stay off of facebook.

Have you tried Freecycle for the things you need? You would have to go and fetch them, but they wouldn't cost you a penny.

Speak to your case manager about the washing machine and try freecycle like Jan suggests.

It is great to come on here and vent, we've all done it [:D] As for FB, stay on there, just delete him from your friends so you can't see what he's up to. I love FB [:)] There's a group thats local to me that has items for sale/free..maybe there's one for your area? Or you could start one and post that you want a washing machine?

xx
