Cleardebt say they are open till 9pm Mon-Thurs.

We rang 3 times yesterday evening, and so far twice tonight. Each time the call taker has told us someone would call us back, and as yet, we are still waiting.

I'm sure you can all appreciate that being in an IVA can be quite stressful, so to be sat waiting for an answer to a question is very frustrating.

Does anyone know if they are always like this or have we just been unlucky?

They are normally ok with call backs. I tend to email them and normally get a swift response. At least that way you have a record of what was discussed.

I think you should get a response from supervisor@ etc etc.

Not their usual style - perhaps they are just having a couple of busy days?

Hi Barbie, who is your caseworker at cleardebt? I'm also with them and as the others say just send an email and they should get back to you, alternatively email mr Mond direct, he usually answers very quickly.

If you take a look at cleardebts website there is a section on employees, you may be able to search for yours on there. I also thought that to cover all times that the caseworkers worked a shift pattern so that they were available on at least one late a week, but I could be wrong!

Good luck

Karen x

I doubt very musch that your IP finishes at 6pm barbie. I have often held e-mail chats with him well into the early hours!

Heretoday or anyone else in the know, could you point me in the direction of an email address?

I rang again last night, making it 6 times, and even left an alternative number in case they rang back today, and hubby rang tonight (after 5:30pm, to be fair, so obviously noone was going to call us back this evening).

The girl on the phone said they are an external call centre so all they do is take the message and request a call back for you.

This is now 3 days in a row that we have been waiting for a callback, and I presume they wont be open over the weekend, making it 5 days trying to get an answer to a question. Not doing a lot for my health to be honest!!!

Mr Mond is the CEO of cleardebt and although I can't actually write his full email on here you can get him at david.mond@ then add the company name, (cleardebt) then finish it with co.uk you should be able to get the gist of what it s!! He s actuall on the forum members lst but doesn't seem to be active at the moment. Other than that size5 on the members is mike morgan from abacus/cleardebt.

Good luck

I would have thought that a member of Cleardebt must have seen this thread as I am sure that they watch every thread that I post in.

That aside give the following a go:

Insolvency Practioner David Mond, dmond@hodgsons.co.uk

Chief Operating Officer Simon Lee Simon.Lee@abacusfinance.co.uk

Project Manager Tom O' Connor tom.oconnor@cleardebt.co.uk

Tom is the most likely to reply and to be fair to him he has been very good at replying to my queries.

Can someone let me know if posting an email address is wrong? I can understand that Experts can't openly show their wares and that individuals should be withheld for the same reason but we often see posts about other IVA companies and where to complain or get information?

I hope this is ok after the OP had drawn a blank on the telephone?

Thanks HTD & Karen.

I've actually found our PIA on Facebook (by accident! Was googling his name and company name to see if I could find his email address), fighting the urge to contact him that way!

The problem can be summed up in this statement by Chief Operating Officer Simon Lee "ClearDebt do not represent but a single client; we represent many thousands"

Your IP can work 24/7 but will never be able to give you the time that you deserve!
