Tony,

Looks like standard info from a creditor. You obviously are not after a "notice of correction" on your file but updates/deletions to it.

Guidance on how to complain is on the ICO website along with a complaint form.

http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints/data_protection.aspx

In terms of legislation you could quote the Data Protection Act, several "Principles" apply in that personal data should be accurate and kept up to date, not kept longer than necessary for a specific purpose and processed with the rights of the Data Subject (That will be you) come to mind

There is also a guidance note on defaults http://www.ico.gov.uk/~/media/documents ... 20DOC.ashx para 47 which states your rights to get inaccurate default dates amended to the date of your IVA.

HTH

PS: Also if they have given you a "final decision" and its been 8 weeks you can also get the Financial Ombudsman on board.

thanks very much, your a diamond, was looking around online at a few things, just worried that creditors will still keep info on thier own personal files for alot longer, nothing i can do about that...after the six years with CRA'S
time is always the answer, stay focus and you will reach the end all in good time
