Clearstart to Dfd

Have heard by a few people that Clearstart have been taken over by Dfd .Is that the case ? We havent been informed of anything yet .

DFD bought Clearstart about a year ago from my recollections, although I gather they are still using the Clearstart name for trading purposes.

I have read and heard this too.
I have had nothing in writing from Clearstart, and I just keep sending paperwork to their Nottingham address and it gets there cause the cheques clear ! Will this affect us or not ? has anyone else heard anything ?

Is anyone else with Clearstart, how are you finding them to deal with at the moment ? What are they like at review time ?

I'm with Clearstart and posted on here a couple of months back when i first read that DFD had taken over Clearstart as i was a little concerned at the time, but i never heard a word about it from DFD or Clearstart. Just made my 12th payment so end of 1st year so waiting to hear about my review!! A little nervous but Clearstart have been very good with me so far so hope it continues all ok. Will let you know Caraf once i hear about my review ( how it all goes).

I had a letter from DFD last week saying from now on they will be looking after my IVA instead of Clearstart, just hope they are as goos as Clearstart

Thats a bit worrying I have not had any problems with Clearstart and find them helpful and prompt with replies.

Hi Caraf, Nice to hear from you . Not going so well im afraid to say, my hubbys iva is being reviewed due to us struggling with expenditure increase.(petrol and food mainly)Clearstart have been really good though, and have helped brilliantly . Hubby having a viaration meeting to see if creditors will accept lower payment ,but his iva will be extended for a further 12 months. On the brighter side we have been rehoused by the local council to a lovely estate away from all that anti social behaviour we had suffered for 2 years. The children are at last being brought up in a decent area, they have changed schools, made lots of new friends and are very happy. Which at the end of the day i have to say is more important to me than my iva . Hope all is well with you. Rachel

Brilliant News about the re-location. Hope things pick up for you now. How did Clearstart get your I&E so wrong in the first place, when is your variation meeting, and how much of a reduction are you looking for ? Is it the same people you are dealing with at Clearstart are they very understanding ? lets hope they are understanding at review time ?
