Can you spend M&S vouchers at the outlet stores Karin? We have one not too far away from me so if you can I'll be using my vouchers there!

Jan yes you can. In fact they were even more helpful cos I had 2 x £10 vouchers and they wouldn't give me the 50p in change so she said she would put the amount plus my other voucher on a gift card instead so can use it like switch card.

Squid, depends on where you look at or which site you believe is the capital...my first thought was L and then realised it could be Y. isn't that you thats just asked me for friending on FB.

Wonder who it is then.

That's good - I have some of the plastic vouchers and I assume then that it would be just like a normal store and they would deduct the balance from that card.

Hi Leaky

You got it York. Don’t think I have sent a friend request unless I have inadvertently clicked somewhere I shouldn't have!

No, you've not sent one Squidward so you can't converse with Karin off forum unless you add her as a Frugal Friend as well.

York's ace! It's where I'm from and I love going back to visit family.

I really didn't appreciate it when I lived there though.

LOL Squid, you not too far away then. Not been to york for a while.

I asked about the friend request because I got one from someone earlier today and can only presume she is from here as jan, helen, lesley, skip have had one too. I can't work out who it is, but know she is from here. Initials RR. who is it?

I know it's only one R -- but it's not Rosepetal, is it ?

"last year a knitted monsoon dress for £6. can't go wrong!" .... I beg to differ ...... bet it's not my colour !!!!

FYI I am shaven headed (OK .. bald), bearded, my stomach is wider than my chest and I make a silver back gorilla look naked !!!!

So ,,,, can you go wrong with a knitted monsoon dress for £6.... I can !!!!

[:0] good bargains there Helen!

I had a fab pair of shoes from Next (outlet store) and matching bag...both for a tenner!!

My favourite dress is from Monsoon sale and cost £9!!

I went to Tkmaxx (?) last week and hated it! Yet a friend of mine had a fab coat from there for £15.. I love a bargain, just no good at searching for them!

That was a bargain Julie!

I don't like TKMaxx - too much like a jumble sale although I do know people who have had great stuff from there.

We have a shop by us called Essential Clothing (it's a franchise so they are in other places) and they sell discontinued High Street stuff at reasonable prices. I got a Monsoon dress for £3.50 (sale stuff which was marked down again) and a couple of Wallis cardigans for the same price.
