No, they wouldnt, they are not one of your creditors. As far as I am aware only HSBC/First direct have asked clients to move. Plus it wouldnt happen that quickly, you dont have an IVA until the creditors agree and it can take 6 to 8 weeks to set up.

i still think theyre gonna flip over my halifax debt.
i should be ecstatic today cos they gave me a full current account but im not.
im still pre iva and they now nearly own hbos ;(

Dont be such a worry head Fergie. Your smiling and laughing days are not over yet. You will get through this. We all did and I was a wreck to start with. Youre trying to see too far into the process, when you get creditor calls you will deal with them, we will help you through it all.

So have a little smile now, eh? You have already done the hard bit, realising you need to do something is a massive step.

hi, i opened a co-op account when i went br it did take a couple of weeks though, i explained that i needed it as i was going br but got the account no problems , good luck.

Lily's right Fergie, you will laugh again although it doesn't seem like it at the moment. You'll come through the other side and be a stronger person.

FD, don't worry I was referred when I opened my Co-op account, like others have said it is more to do with identity checks then anything else.
