Hi, just seem to have spent most of the day trying to open a new bank account, can anyone advise please? I have spoken to co-op over phone and gone through an application which they are posting out to me today. Why do they ask for your current bank account details, do they contact them in any way? Worried as obviously changing bank account due to starting completing paperwork for an iva and don't want my current bank to know as they are one of my larger creditors?
