Hi we have got a Cashminder account with the Co-operative.
Does any one know how quick they are to jump on you if you go overdrawn on your account?
I knew this month was going to be tight because the hubby been off with a bad back.
I had work it all out and we were going to be fine just until next friday payday.
Then the morning bt moves the phone direct debt to a week early and we are in the ****
Thought this iva was going to well but the last few months its been hard the saving went on a second car because hubby job moved and he now needs to travel.
We have just had are second year review and with the extra car eg insurance petrol etc we were hoping Step Change might have lower your payments but no chance.
Sorry to moan people just need to get it off my chest thanks
Emma

They will pick it up right away and send you a mildly snotty letter. They will not allow you to overdraw and will bounce anything they will take you into the black. Their policy is "three strikes and you are out".

Edit -- sorry -- that should read " take you into the red" [:I]

I rang the co-op when this happened to me. They were very understanding as they could see the payment had come out earlier than normal. But as foggy says 3 times is there limit so i used to be on-line every night checking my balance!

when it's out of your control that's pretty harsh but I guess it's their rules. Glad you could borrow off son though and all is fine.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
