Finally some good news.

The only thing is the follow on course is about £1500 and I'm not sure who is liable for that?? But hey ho I will worry about that nearer the time, cause if IVA is accepted I will never be able to save that much........any contingency we will get will probably end up being spent on extra education for son as it will be final year of primary school so one more push before 'big' school.

Just thought I'd share that bit of good news so you don't all think I'm doom and gloom.....[:D]

The best bit is it will take 5 years to do - part time - so I will have plenty of reading and essay writing to keep me occupied over the term of my IVA which has just been approved!

The college should have details of charity trusts that help students with course fees and equipment. It often means a lot of research and you may need to apply to several places.

That's the only bad part isn't it - the money side. I think the next part of the course I will haveto pay for as my role is not career graded it is just a band - if that makes sense (if it runs over 2- bands then college is usually the way to reach the top band).

Good luck to anyone embarking on a new course and Skippy when your IP is done then there will be no stopping you I'm sure.

What are you thinking of doing?
