Well worth it I would have said. £225 is not an insignificant amount, especially when you are already struggling. As I said, it is certainly worth the cost of a stamp, and the court hearing itself, should it go that far, is very informal and relaxed so is not something you should worry about, especially if you can get help with the cost.

Well, it's your money, they owe it to you.....They will have to pay your fees if you win so you won't lose out.
My guess is, once you threaten court action they will pay up....

I will give it a go, just drafted a letter to the company with my intentions although i dont know what sort of time frame to give them. I think i have read a month?

I would ask for acknowledgement of letter within 7 days and full payment to be made within 28 days. I think that's long enough for them to get their act together

Thanks Barb. I have sent them a letter and i had an email off them saying the boss will deal with it when he comes back off holiday on tuesday. We shall see....

Well the good news is i had a letter today saying my outstading payment will be paid by cheque and is available to collect Thursday 4th. Great although i really didnt want to have to go in to collect it. Never mind.
