Compensation after an IVA??
Wonder if anyone else come across this. Been in my IVA now since Feb and going relatively well altho payments seem fairly high. Have received a letter from "Consumer Support Bureau" (not sure where they got my details from) but saying they can reduce payments due to something called unforceable credit agreement that my IVA company prob did not comply with. Has anyone heard of such and if so can they offer any advice. Many thanks

It sounds like utter nonsense to me Gail - fair enough if they can help you reclaim unfair charges you might be interested in talking to them, but if they are going to suggest a scam scheme to try and help you to avoid paying your debts then I would beware. I'd be interested to know what they feel your IVA company did not comply with? So far as I am aware, there is no reason for an IVA provider to encourage clients to use loopholes to avoid repaying their debts.

I agree with Mel - sounds like a scam scheme to me as well.
