I won an Unfair dismissal claim and my previous employer was ordered to pay before 15 January 2008. He didn't. He then placed the company in liquidation around March 2008. I have not received any money. I have now been informed that his daughter is to be allowed to be a director of their new company and he is allowed to help on the managerial side. (she was a director of the previous company) Can I claim my compensation from the new company or from him personnally.

Hi lin and welcome to the forum

Sadly not - your claim is against the company which is in liquidation. It may be possible for you to claim some of the money you are owed from the Government's National Insurance Fund - so have a word with the Liquidator and they should be able to provide you with some claim forms.
