Orange well done on making final payment - my understanding (could be wrong) they will do a review and request documentation to see if there is any windfall/extra income/overtime.
It worth remembering you still under the IVA rules until that final paperwork is done - and any delays in sending the paperwork will delay the closure.
Well done again in completeing the IVA

Hi Orange, congratulations, well done on making your final payment. I think it may depend on which company you are with as they seem to vary, I am sure they would request any further paperwork if necessary but it may be best to check back with them for peace of mind.
We are with DFD and made our final payment in April. I checked as I had the same question in mind as you and was told at that point that there would be no further reviews and no requirement to submit any more pay statements or bank statements so that meant our final review was at the end of year 4 - also year 4 was the only time where we were required to send bank statements.
We have recently been advised that our completion certificate will be issued by the end of this month - it has been a long 5 months but we are nearly there and now waiting in anticipation every time the postie comes!

Good luck to you all awaiting your completion certificates - a little while yet but looking forward to receiving mine. I agree it does depend on which company you're with. x

Orange I'm in exactly the same position as you. My last payment was on the 28th July and I'm waiting for my completion certificate also. I was told that it would take up to 3 months but everytime the postie arrives I'm the first to the door. I have heard that some arrive quicker than three months and I think all my Creditors have submitted their claims so fingers crossed. Please let us know when you do have yours. What Company are you with ?

No problems Orange. I have just messaged you. I didn't know anything about Frugal Friends until now. What a fabulous forum this is.

They have to close the bank account down, which they cannot do until the final dividends have been paid to all creditors. Before they can do that they have to ensure all the creditors have made claims, though really that should be done during the IVA not at the end.
They do do a final review at the end, for the 5th year. Once all that is done, they issue final paperwork and certificate. Until you get the certificate you're still under the IVA's terms and conditions re windfalls, so the sooner you can get hold of that piece of paper the better.
6 weeks it took to get mine from making the final payment, I know some have waited ages for theirs so do feel lucky. Well done on getting to the end, and hopefully you'll get yours soon.
