Hello,
I had an IVA with money debt and credit and completed it last year. I received a letter from them saying that it was completed attaching a notice of completion from Guildford county court dated the 13/09/2012.
Everything has been great until a month ago I started getting letters from Grant Thorton who claim to have bought the IVA from Money Debt and Credit who no longer do them.
I have now had a further letter saying that whilst I was told it had been completed, I was also told it was not possible to finalise my case(they told me no such thing) due to the Paymex case, and now I have a potential claim for PPI that the creditors want to discuss and so need my signed authority to do so as Grant Thorton wish to propose a number of changes.
I have rang them and got told a similar thing, also, my certificate of completion was not worth the paper it is written on and I have wasted a year as the IVA is still active due to money debt and credit not signing it off.
I'm not sure what to do as I don't trust what i'm being told as it has PPI scam writing all over it. But at the same time i'm worried that I might not be doing the right thing.
I would appreciate your views.
Many thanks.

Hello,
sorry, i'm a bit dim when it comes to all this.
My problem is that I satisfied the terms of my IVA. My last payment was around June 2012, I'm not paying anything and have a notice of completion signed by the court.
So is it competed or not? Is the notice from the court worthless?

Hi,
Looking at the letter they have proposed a number of changes to the terms of the IVA, 29 in total.
The first is that it is that i'm released from all obligations subject to arrangement.
Then it goes on about my payments, but like i'm still making them which of course i'm not.
My worry is that they just want to re-visit my agreement to explore a potential PPI claim. For the record, I want no part of it. I finished my IVA and it was the best feeling in the world and so I just want to move on, not have this lot poking me with a pointy stick.

Hello,
On top of this I have also just checked the insolvency register and i'm still listed and the case is open. This is despite me have a Notice of Completion for over a year.
It say that an Individual Voluntary Arrangements will remain visible while they are Current, and for a period of 3 months after the receipt of notice of the revocation order, full implementation or termination of the agreement.
The original letter that accompanied the cert said that the IVA would remain open pending a potential VAT refund from HMRC, which if paid may result in further dividends to creditors.
So, despite me having the cert MD&C did not tell the court? MD&C sell my details to GT and GT want me to sign an agreement so that they can change my contract so that they can investigate VAT and PIP?
Is this all just part of the process or am I having a rough ride? Should I be reporting them to the financial conduct authority or something?
Any comment would be very much appreciated.
