Hi
This is a first post for me, I have found this forum to be a great source to get me through my IVA.It was been a long five years, have been with Wilson Field, and they have been great, got my completion certificate through on Saturday. I not sure how and where to go to start repairing my credit any advice will be greatly received.

Your IVA and defaults will remain on your credit file for six years. 1st step is to find out whats on their files. Obtain the £2 reports from each credit agency.
All the defaults should be marked now to the start of your IVA- If not send a letter and copy of your completion certificate to Data controller of each company (NOT CUSTOMER SERVICES) requesting this information to be updated

Hi Teenip
As ginger said, obtain your credit file from the agencies. Check the Insolvency register:
https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/
IVA and defaults will remain on your file for 6yrs.
I sent my CC off to all 3 agencies and 2/3 removed the IVA straight away. Had to phone Equifax a few times but thats been removed now.
Here's a few links of what to do after IVA:

Hope this helps
This site has been fantastic for me going through the IVA. And everyone is friendly and always happy to help with any worries/issues you have going forward. No matter how niggly the worry, someone will be able to help.
