I completed by IVA early (started early 2018, completed via F&F offer early 2020).
My potential employer is asking for a background check and it's 50/50 on whether this will include a credit check... I have no idea. It's got me worked up a bit. I know the IVA will be on my report for one more year.
The whole thing made me revisit my report on checkmyfile and there is also a weird status being reported from all three agencies. It says:
Removed: 15/02/24
Status: DISCHARGED on 15/02/2020
Does anyone know what the 'removed' alludes to? As far as I am aware, year 5 doesn't have any significance, so just wondering what this is?
It will remain on your file for 6 years from the start of your IVA. Not sure why it says discharged - I presume you had your completion letter.
You could query it with the agencies.
