I've been a member of this forum for over five years, you've all seen me go through the set up, acceptance, redundancies and life of the IVA...and now its finished, paid, done with.
Last payment went out on Nov 28th, Creditfix have been so fast with it all and we've already got our completion certificate. So now I need to do the next step.

I've followed the PGJ link and have even registered with callcredit (noddle) and got my credit report. But I am still confused.

Nothing I can see on the report lists the debtors apart from the one we owed least to £41 when they were added to the IVA and it still lists them saying default 1/12/2010. Does that mean the other debtors have actually already cleared their records and all been done? BUT...it does say completed on the IVA :)

I can't believe it will be that easy. I haven't done the other two agencies yet, running out of time today so wanted to ask all your advice first.

We are still on the register but I didn't expect that to change yet, should it happen now because the completion certificate has gone to them, or should it happen at the 6th yr anniversary.

x

Ok so I should have pressed the button that says closed accounts, it shows MAX recovery as Satisfied. I think all our debtors ended up passing on the debts to Max as we would get the six monthly reports from them.

I don't know if I should still be writing to anyone now LOL, I think I'm going to have to do the reports for all the agencies first, and for my hubby as well to see what they all say.

We don't ever ever want a credit card or loan again, so I'm not bothered what the score says, but I do want to get our bank accounts sorted as we would like to sort another current.

This all seems like a dream. For the first time in our married lives 26yrs we haven't got a payment leaving the bank that pays a creditor...amazing x

If you have completed then it will drop off the register within three months.

Just check that all creditors are not showing you as default after the original date of the iva. If so then send a copy of your completion certificate to them and tell them to remove it.

The IVA will remain on there for six years from the date of initial meeting.

Sign up with Clearscore as well - they are good and it is free.

I know that bit hun, I've followed that PJG Link, I've got a report from Callcredit, it shows one default (correct date) for one creditor and in closed accounts it shows one name which I am assuming is for all the debts.

Thanks re register, at least I know come easter it won't be showing on their anymore. I expected that the IVA would stay on record with the agencies for the 6 yrs I just wondered what it would likely say.

I'm going to register later with the other agencies and see what they say, then I'll have a better understanding of what to I should be seeing I think x
