We are nearly 2 years in to our IVA. The annual review is due soon, the problem is we have not been told exactly what we can claim or the reasonable amounts. EG I am trying to support a son at University - he does not qualify for any help because of our incomes - can I claim a monthly amount for him. I do understand the basics eg food etc but a whole lot of other things crop up - eg school trips, uniforms, large vet bills. My mother kindly helps us out but I feel very guilty about this. Is there any information anywhere that I could use when completing the annual review?

Hi floridagirl

You should discuss the cost of your son's further education costs with your IP - and if I were acting for you I would be allowing this expenditure so long as it did not impact upon your ability to fund IVA payments.
