So we made our final payment in October 2018 and our completion certificate arrived in the post today.

I now have no idea what happens and how we can attempt to start building our credit rating ? I know it will be effected for a further year.

Do we send copies of the completion certicAte off to credit agencies if so who?

Sorry for all the questions but I am lost.

Thank you

If your IP is doing his job correctly all your creditors will be informed and sent copies of the completion paperwork, as will the Insolvency Service. As I mentioned in my reply to your other post, have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

That's a great turnaround time for you ... great way to start 2019 !
I would keep an eye on your credit files and where defaults don't start to drop off or creditors don't update to show completion I would make contact with the credit control team and send a COPY of the certificate to them to ensure there records are updated and ready to be completed removed on the 6th anniversary.
