That's me all done and dusted, made my final payment in November and received my certificate of completion on Saturday !! The added bonus was a check for one months payment. Apparently I managed to over pay by one installment !!! Nice little bonus.

Have applied for the Vanquis card to start rebuilding my file. It's gone for referral but I think that's pretty standard practice from some of the posts I have seen here.

Fantastic news stevebuck

3months for certificate looks like it means the much talked about VAT issue did notvaffect you !!

Do you mind me asking which IVA company you are sorry where with ? As I'm due to make mylast payment in a few months and there seems to be a huge variance from one IVA co to another in terms of the amount of time it takes them to issue completion certificates

Well done again , enjoynyour spare cash

12 months to go - well only 6 now !
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

Sure no problem, i was with Debt Free Direct. Didn't expect to get it until March / April time tbh. Despite having had no payments to make since November it's nice to have the certificate in hand !!

Well done on receiving that certificate you're officially debt free.

What a great feeling that must be and I hope Vanquis allows the card to help rebuild your credit rating. All the best for your debt free future. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
