I know we've all had a thing or two to say about GT over recent months, but I have to say that ten days ago I emailed the new address for the closure team, they responded extremely quickly to say completion would be in around 14 working days.

Today I got text from hubby saying "call me".... So I did!! His only words were.... "it's here...."!!!

We are so pleased to have reached the end of this journey and will keep the lessons we have learned forever.

So pleased for you jp! I know exactly how wonderful it feels.

We completed ours in March and I am still living like being in an IVA. We both get £50 per month to spend as we wish and I still have all of it in my 'pocket money purse'!. I keep seeing things then thinking how it will mean less in the purse. I hope it will last like this!!

Congrats, now open an isa that gives full access, transfer every month your previous payment into it then take out as you need...

Locks it away , get a bit of interest, but all that dosh is there and can be back in your account same day if needed.

Good feeling that.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.

Good advice there Herbekj.

We buy some premium bonds each month - interest is so low in accounts and there's always the chance of winning a prize. Even £25 would be good!

Perhaps I should clarify, the 14 working days was from when GT clients were given contact details for the closures team, we actually made our last payment in September 2011....
