well i have to say that it took 5 weeks to receive it from last payment (well done ip)
but i was expecting something like a real certificate something sparkley ,but no only 5 lines on a a4 paper only to say your arrangement is fully implemented after 5 1/2 yrs of scrimping and stress and that's all you get folks.

what the time limit now for the creditors to inform the all the relevant credit reference's that everything has been settled?

and how long doe's it take to come of the insovency register,is it our job to inform them?

Well done bulldog...I know exactly how you feel and like you was slightly disappointed...I wanted to frame the certificate and look at it proudly every day ! Instead it is filed safely away and every now and then I get it out to remember what we went through - certainly makes you think twice !

Welldone, I got an uninteresting completion certificate too lol, think it must be the norm. I got mine about 10 days ago and I checked the insolvency register today , I am no where to be seen .....hurray , just need to tidy my credit file up now !
Good luck with your credit free future.

It is just a letter - the main thing is that you are completely debt free and don't need to worry about your IVA anymore.

Congrats on finishing the IVA and getting your CC so quickly. Even if I get a certificate at the end of mine I would be embarrassed to frame it and put it on display. Inside I will have all the 'smugness' of knowing I admitted to being in dire straights and took steps to clear my debts. I know other 'friends' who will never admit they spend more than they earn and look down on me now as I don't socialise as much (if at all) as I used to and I don't NEED all the latest whatevers that are out there.
You should be off the register within 3 months and will have to wait until the 6th year to check to see if all your defaults have been settled, until then good luck in your future and stay smiling.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Fab that you've received it in a timely manner too.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Bulldog and congrats for receiving your Certificate of Completion!
Can you tell us which IVA company you were with?

I bet it wasn't Grant Thornton! (Can you sense abit of frustration towards GT?)

I would like mine delivered by celebrity with a brass band playing on my front lawn.
Can't decide who I want though. Would be nice if Kelly Brook was available.
Just my luck it will be Noel flippin Edmonds.
Aucto Splendore Resurgo.
IVA accepted May 2007.
Extended by 12 months in lieu of equity March 2012.
F+F offer accepted May 2012.
C of C received August 2012.
IVA dropped off credit file 24th May 2013.
