Hi all

My IVA completed at the end of 2013, but I have today finally received my final report and completion certificate.
Being paranoid, I continued to put my monthly IVA payments into a savings account until everything was properly finalised.
I cant express the relief that I feel to finally be debt free especially as my monthly IVA payments were more than a thousand pounds a month!

My wife and I celebrate our silver wedding anniversary next year, so we can finally have our first proper holiday since 2006!

I have learnt a lot during the IVA, and I will add my thoughts in more detail later, but for me, if you enter an IVA and plan your expenditure properly (in REAL detail), then it seems to work pretty well, although in my case Ive had to cope with exploding cars and heating boilers which have been really challenging.

So for those setting out on an IVA, there really is light at the end of the tunnel!
