Hi

Received a phone call from these people yesterday about being mis-sold an IVA. I said I was happy with my arrangements and ended the call. Anybody know anything about them?

Hi,

Do not know about these people but basically they trawl the insolvency website service for people in IVA's and ring them trying to say you have been mis-sold and they can help you for a cost go bankrupt.

If you are happy with your IVA do not take any notice of them and even if you wanted to go bankrupt you can do it yourself for a much lower cost.

Be very weary of these people. Over the years I have seen lot of these type of companies trying to get people to fail their IVA and go bankrupt - a service they charge for. They do this under the pretence that you were "mis-sold" your IVA.

Thanks

When there is no more money to be made by preying on vulnerable people and promising them the earth is the short answer I would have thought......

If it's in the directory then it would be quite easy.

I've also heard that BT sell ex directory numbers - with the amount of cold calls that we get I wouldn't be surprised!

Are you all registered with the TPS, I registered with the Telephone Preference and Mail Preference and it has stopped most of the marketing, worked for me to a degree.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I tried to register with them, but for some reason the emails never came through. I'll have to try again.

Hi

Thanks for your replies, they sounded a bit offical but I thought is was probably one of those firms you have all been warning about. We are registered with the TPS, Lesley but it does not seem to stop all calls.

Did you have a good holiday Jan?
