Is there some legislation that stops them ringing if you're registered or sending junk mail? I'll have to take a look at the website as you can trying quoting something from there...I always quote it on any junk mail I receive when I send it back to them, I think I enjoy doing it a little too much!

Hi again
Thanks for the links size5, must have missed the recent one on the forum. Glad I got rid of them quick!

Hi Linda,

Yes thank you, it was a lovely time.

Had to come back to reality though and still have a mountain of washing to face!

Hi Jan

Yes its not good when you get back to reality especially as we seem to have suddenly gone to autumn! Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

I think you might be right Lesley I will certainly mention it if they phone again. I tend to put the phone down on these people but you do get fed up with it.

Autumn Linda?!?! Don't you mean winter?!?! It's rained all day here, and when I went out at lunchtime I had to put my headlights and the car heater on!

Wish it would rain here, I'm tending next doors garden and it's huge, takes me ages to water and we have to use the well water. I was picking fruit and tomatoes this afternoon though as they said help yourself. Daughter made a gorgeous apple and raspbery crumble and two bowls of tomatoes in fridge for eating later in week. They really are resourceful people x

After all the rain we had last night my poor plants are looking half dead where they were beaten down. It was awful.

I can't believe that this is the only area that had torrential rain! You couldn't even walk on the paths round here as they were so badly flooded!

I'm not making it up, honest!

Is it that bad Skippy; we used to live near you - Beaconsfield; our old house will no doubt be ground floor flooded by now. J

It was yesterday. It took me 50 minutes to do a 15 minute journey last night and I was only as quick as that as I took a short cut and went home again!

We're only a couple of minutes from the Thames, so if we have many more days like that we'll probably get a flood alert!
