All companies have different criteria for their credit checks. Before I entered into my IVA I applied for a bank account with First Direct who turned my down. I then applied for an account with Lloyds and I was accepted. When I asked First Direct why they had turned me down they said they couldn't tell me, but each bank credit scores in a different way.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Sorry, I'm not sure about that one as I already had a contract phone with Vodafone. Do you already have a mobile allowance for PAYG? Providing that you aren't going to be spending any more than that on a contract phone I wouldn't think it would be too much of a problem. Hopefully one of the experts will be along to confirm.
