Morning all

Well i have been to open the account, but there was nobody available to do it. They gave me the forms to fill in there and then and took a copy of my id and said they would sent it off??

Is this normal, and if so, how long until i hear about the account?
Onwards and Upwards is the way for me :-0)

That's what happened to me when I went into the branch. I can't say how long it will take to open the account as there was a computer problem when they opened mine which meant although the account was opened they never told me! That was the only problem I've ever had with them though so I can't complain.

I would give them a call towards the end of the week and see what they say.

Good luck x

I'm sure you'll be fine. Like I said I've only had one problem with the Co-op and they sorted it out straight away - they gave me the account number and sort code over the phone and I had the debit card within a couple of days.
