Hi All.

I completed my IVA 6 months ago. I have gone through my credit file with all three agencies but on Equifax there is a mistake. It is showing one of my creditors as still 'Defaulted' as opposed to 'Settled' which all the rest of now changed too. It also has the default date wrong by a number of months.

I just wanted some advise on who best to go to in order to correct this. Do I go straight to Equifax with a copy of my Completion Certificate and list of creditors? Go to the Creditor directly, or go to my IP (CreditFix).

Thank you all in advance :)
Currently in an IVA. Not a Financial Professional, any comments expressed are just my opinion.

You go to the Data Controller at the creditor to get the date amended --- the status doesn't matter. However, if it's a couple of months out it will still drop off before you could get it sorted anyway ---- have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
