Loneranger - if you have special reasons as to why your car parking costs are above average let your proposed IVA provider know this as there are ways for this to be put into a proposal which will be brought to creditors attention.

CCCS cannot possibly guide on how much to be allocated for fuel and parking - as this varies with each individual's circumstances. This is the one area that I completely disregard on CCCS guidelines, but of course we do have to explain the costs of motoring to creditors so they understand the basis for the charges.

300 miles a week commuting to and from work, becomes quite expensive in fuel. I don't pay for parking work related.

Then you must ensure that you receive the full allowance for this within your disposable income calculation.

hi lone ranger my hubby does about 450 miles aweek plus 2 toll road payments a day which combined come to over £360 a mth for travelling to and from work . it was questioned but after ip took work postcode and home postcode and saw toll was only way as well was allowed no problems and public transport was 7 hrs travelling a day so not worth attempting

Thanks Elldina. If the creditors had a problem i would just get reciepts, and like wise a postcode check would also so a 60 mile round trip a day.

my daily commute is 94 mile round trip,but at the moment am car shareing so i drive every other week so not too bad on wear and tear on car.
i am allowed £100 petrol a month which only just covers work petrol.
will keep the postcode check in mind when i come up for reveiw as its sailing close to the wind now

You should be allowed a domestic allowance as well, so do make sure this is highlighted at the time of your annual review.
