Oh LD, I'm sorry, I don't know how it all works but hopefully you will get something soon. Is there a family member that you and the children could stay with temporarily?

Mebbe time to speak to your local councillor LD. They are there to help you in these situations. Points systems only work for the now; in your case you are looking to a future. If you become homeless through no fault of your own i.e. breakdown in marital home then they have to find you something which will get your foot on the ladder. Your Councillor may be able to expedite things in your favour. Time to start fighting methinks. Good luck xx

Thats dreadful you must be feeling pretty awful. I hope you can get someone to help fight your corner for you, it sure seems that you need it. Its a shame when we are faced with such problems and alone the systems cant bend. Its too bad that they just let people and children suffer in intollerable conditions until they become affected themselves, if only the system could think outside the box.

Feeling bad for you and hope someone with compassion can take the case on for you.

Good luck.

on a serious note, the lady was basically not interested could tell by her mannerisms and speech, she did say i "i see hundreds like you all the time" i was like no im sorry you dont im me and my kids are them you cannot put me in same position as hundreds you see everyday
states on the housing form if you suffer any domestic abuse which also includes, verbal, mental or threatening behaviour you get points, also my mum picks my 5yr old up from school while im at work and has her till i get home at 9pm, no community connections points there either
cant work it out :(

I think you need another agency working for you. Councillors do help, you need help now, verbally telling them what the problem is never seems to work. I would try anyone willing to listen including social services, your 5 year old needs to be in bed much ealier than she is, right?

I will keep hoping and praying you get some help from someone very soon.

Good luck, LD, thinking of you.

I would imagine so, your local concillor would write on your behalf. I dont know about doctors as all mine were very aware but it was the various disablitiy help lines that finally won through for me, plus the ombudsman... long story to be honest.

Anyhow, going to the doctors might help you in your stressful situation LD, it certainly wont do any harm. If youre really stressed and cannot stand living in the situation, try the womens refuge centre, they certainly will understand and will help I am sure.

Good luck.
