council tax & child maintenance in an IVA?

Are council tax & child maintenance debts able to be included in an IVA

Council tax can be included[not current year] but child maintenance can't.

I was also over paid tax credits, would that also be included ?

No,they will adjust future claims to compensate for this.

Thanks Andy, we are living i Crete at the moment but will be returning to the UK around may 2008 so once we get back I can set about sorting a few things out.

Hi
You will need to include your tax credit debt in your IVA but they will adjust your future claims so in affect not forming part of your IVA.

Hi there

HMRC will generally disregard the IVA if there is an overpayment of tax credits, choosing to claim outside the arrangement by withholding future payments due.
