Well finally saved up the court fees to go br only to find out i have a 4 week wait to get to court. parents still dont know about having to go br and bank and cc company threatning court action hopefully will get to court before they get a knock at the door.

As anyone ever used walsall county court to go br if so how are they down there i asked if i could go to another court but was told i have to go there due to postcode and wait and hope for cancellations to move it forward

Hi there

the team at Walsall are just fine and quite helpful.

if you have the flexibility of time / work then it may be worth ohoning on a daily basis to see if they have a no show - often happens.

Have you sorted out the new bank account etc etc etc yet?

Not sure if they have to be told though once BR and the OR get involved. That was one of the reasons i went into a IVA over BR myself, to avoid other people I live with finding out.

Every day I fear the post though

Going to phone up daily to check.

was on a dmp with the cccs and couldnt keep it up budget was too tight and creditors wouldnt accept anything less, homeless and living with friends problem is all mail is sent to my parents address and no matter how many times i explain that i dont live there its just where my mail goes im still worried the baliffs may call hopefully not before it all goes through.

here is my story and why i have had to go the br route: http://www.iva.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10627

They may not allow you to keep it in br. We went with the co-op, their cashminder account, you can only apply over the phone or in the branch. It allows direct debits and gives a visa electron. They also have phone and online banking and you make deposits in any post office.
Good luck with the br, once it's sorted you'll feel much better,
xx
It's nice to be back......

I don't think Natwest are very sympathetic to bankrupts so it's likely that they will close the account. I have the Co-op Cashminder account like Chris and I can't praise them enough.
