I have been a member of the Experian Credit Expert online service for a while and it has been useful keeping abreast of things leading up to and whilst in my IVA. However I decided to cancel the subscription of £6.99 per month today as I am looking at reducing my non essential expenditure, however when I rang they offered me a half price deal to stay for another 12 months!

Thought I would mention it as they don't advertise this obviously but worth knowing if you are a member, just ring and cancel and they will give you the deal!
IVA Accepted - Sep 2009
F&F Accepted - Oct 2014
CC Received - Jul 2015

funny ...I went to log on with credit expert today and they now want £14.99 a month ! Only wanted to see if any further defaults had been made by santander - but I am not paying £15 for the priviledge !

Never checked ours - always too scared to before the IVA and certainly won't be bothering until my 6 years are up!

I've been paying CreditExpert £6.99 per month for quite a while now, and recently decided to ask them via e-mail to update my credit file, part of which had not been updated - they responded by asking me to e-mail my completion certificate to them. I did, and I was impressed with their instant response which I copy and paste below:

YOUR QUERIES:

- Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) dated 03/07/08

WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR YOU:

I have arranged for our records to be updated to show that your IVA completed on 21/03/11.

The change to your report should take affect within the next seven days.

- Defaulted Accounts Included in IVA

WHAT I AM DOING FOR YOU:

I am contacting the relevant companies concerned for you. This is because I can not amend the information without their consent.

I am adding our standard dispute statement to this information.
"THE CONSUMER HAS DISPUTED THE ACCURACY OF THIS ENTRY AND WE HAVE THEREFORE ASKED THE PROVIDER TO INVESTIGATE IT. GIVEN THAT THIS DATA IS DISPUTED, PLEASE TAKE CARE IF MAKING AN ASSESSMENT OF ANY KIND THAT MAY INCLUDE THIS DATA."

This statement will show within the next seven days.

I will let you know what they say as soon as they reply.

WHAT NEXT:

Keep viewing your credit report to see any changes.

Kind regards
