Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice.
Not long finished my IVA, and looking into cleaning up my credit file. It's not looking to bad apart from a credit card account that was part of my IVA but is showing as "Current" & not "Closed". After fishing out my paperwork it looks like the debt was sold. Who do I send my polite letter to, too close the account, the original creditor or the company whom brought the debt?
Thanks for any advice in advance.

As far as I am aware it should be the company who placed the default. However, the status is not important. More so is the actual default date as it will disappear in 6 years from that date. Have a read here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
