There are sometimes questions on here about whether someone being in an IVA or being BR will affect the credit rating of others at the same address. Yesterday Dave applied for a credit card with Nationwide, and was approved without any problems.
We live together, but have no linked finances, so hopefully this might put people's mind at rest over addresses being 'blacklisted'.
aw thats nice of you skip !
i think you would just write to the credit ref peeps and get them to put a financial dissasociation on your credit file [:)]
My daughter lives with us, still has the same surname, and has had credit approved with no problems despite both hubby and me having an IVA.

So Skippy is right and same surname at same address has no effect on a valid application for a credit card
