The IVA will remain on file for 6 full years from when it started, and this will severely hamper any credit applications.
As for credit card applications, you will have to look for one like the vanquis card(very high APR but can help to rebuild credit scores).
Dont get too caught up in your actual score, its things like defaults and the IVA on file that will do the damage.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Hi check out the Rise Visa credit card, no interest charged, i'm thinking of getting one as i can't get a vanquis, there is a small monthly fee, its good for repairing credit, ive read lots of reviews on money sites about it.
