I've now had a phone call from Norton Laons tying to find me a mortgage for £136000 over 16 years. They know nothing about Just Lending's secure loan malarkey.
I'll update you again shortly.

The poster who has bee through this with CF is AJB but I am struggling to find his original post that shows CF accepted his refusal of secured loan and agreed the years extension

It just makes things a lot more stressful than they need to be. I cannot wait for it to be over
I have another year and 5 months if they agree the extra year and it feels a long way away!

Well, this story now has a happy ending.
I've just rung CreditFix and explained about today's fiasco. I told them that my T&Cs don't include an option, for a loan, and that I Would like to extend my IVA for 12 months.
They agreed immediately !! No quibble, no argument, not a murmur. My file has been noted, and I just carry on paying. They even stated that the secured loan was not a requirement, but just an option that people might want to consider as it ends the IVA. T
Thanks so much to everyone who replied to my posting.
Any ex-PJG customers out there, who are in the same boat, I would advise you to call Creditfix direct.
Happy days have returned.

Fabulous news for you, perhaps the staff at Secure lending should take note!!!
I suppose I just wait for the phone call from them!

I imagine they could scare a few people into taking out secured loans.
If I hadn't been able to access this forum, I may very well have believed their lies and lumbered myself with four more years of debt.

Great news. I must say that every time I've called CF, they have been very pleasant and helpful - I can't fault their customer service. Sure they can be a bit lacking with written communication but if you are proactive, they seem to want to help.

Great news -- as I have said before CF do tend to take the path of least resistance -- the staff at Secure Lending, however, need a little word in their shell-likes !
