Hi,

I have recently been transferred to credit fix from Knightsbridge. I have continued to receive emails asking me to sign the new terms which I have ignored. I have emailed back to advise that I will not be signing and also asked them for a contact of who to speak to about my Iva but have had no response, only more automated emails asking me to sign.
My first year on my Iva passed last week but I have had no correspondence about an annual review. Do I wait for them to contact me or should I be ringing them to chase this? I don’t want to get into any trouble with them before we’ve even started, but similarly I’m annoyed that they haven’t responded to either of my emails.

Grateful for responses

Give them a call and say you are worried about not receiving anything about your review. As to the emails, continue to ignore them and I would send a letter via recorded delivery saying that you will not be signing any new terms and conditions and will they stop sending them.

Creditfix do seem to have an almightly problem with communication and you have to keep on at them. The review should be conducted within two months of the anniversary date, but this seems to go by the wayside when firms take on other caseloads ! Again, keep on at them.

Thank you. Can they penalise me if I don’t chase it up?

The onus is on them to review ... but it is your IVA and your responsibility to make sure it goes to plan. Apart from which, you wouldn't want them playing catch up at the end and then deciding you have been paying too little for the past few years .... it has happened !!

After I was transferred to CF my first review was late... i had to chase them and was told they were a bit behind. I actually received my annual report before my review??? However the annual reviews following were on time and smooth!
Good luck

Thank you, that’s helpful! Can you tell me what the annual review with creditfix involves?

I send a copy of payslips every month because my wages fluctuate and i need to make uplift payments but I think it’s 6 months bank statements and your payslips and then an I& E
The form was totally different to what I was used to but if there was no box for something i used to just write it on
The statements were usually returned within a week.
I did used to have to chase the result but never had an increase

They cannot insist on bank account access.
