I disagree setting up the new bank account the IVA reference will appear on my bank statement. I have a Barclays Cash Card a/c. When setting up new standing order, it asks for account name and reference and both of these appear on my bank statement, so how can Susan Wrigglesworth name appear, I don't trust sending my details via or post or email for Creditfix to set up. I don't want the wording appearing on my statements as a constant reminder even though the bank probably knows my situation. Sorry to rant! PJG were more senseitive regarding this issue, I would really appreciate your comments on these Creditfix

My payment always goes on the 2nd of the month. It has gone by standing order for tomorrow already and 'RBS' appears on my online banking statement. I am relieved because did not want IVA appearing on statement if required for id purposes for crb for example. I feel creditfix are not sensitive or professional towards people in ivas. Pjg/mel was always discreet and professional.

Hi abbiesmum200, did you or Creditfix set the standing order up, I'm just concerned that when I set up through Barclays it asks for the account name which I'm assuming you enter client deposit a/c and ref which mean the IVA ref and my name and both these appear would appear on my bank statement as when set up with PJG account name was Sue Clay client account with my name as ref which these details appear on my bank statement, sorry to go on, it's just I really don't want the wording of IVA showing. Why cant we just quote our IVA number only and name as the ref number on setting up

Well I made a mistake setting up my standing order and missed the Jan payment so I paid it as a bill with my cashminder account It asked for all sorts of references, names and the IVA does show on my bank statement I am hoping that when the SO kicks in it doesn't

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I also have a Cashminder account, I use the bill payment for uplifts and have the standing order coming out in the next few days.

Having checked my online banking it seems Co-op use Recipient + Reference
on statements for both the bill payment and standing order options. If you have say set recipient as Creditfix and reference set as IVA..... then that will be on your statement.

Which unfortunately makes this comment incorrect as far as the cashminder account is concerned:

"The reference number does not appear on any bank statements you receive. Payments will show as: SUSAN M WRIGGLESWORTH on any bank statements"

Another thing that Creditfix have got wrong, so wish we had the option to go elsewhere, this is do do wrong, it's our lives here, yes I know this road was never going to be easy, but with PJG you were treated not as a number but a human being, only another 4 stressfull years to go

Im with natwest. I set up standing order myself via online banking. Asked for bank (rbs) acc no., sortcode and ref which i hate being IVA****** but on my statement it just shows as RBS. When i was with Pjg it showed as AL on our bank statement. I agree they make you feel bad. Like should have iva tattooed on us.

With the cashminder you can put whatever you like as the recipient, when you setup using online banking. So you could just put RBS but the ref would still show IVA*****

Downwardi,

Can you send me an email? That way I can look at your account and see what is happening with your case.
Thanks
