Just had the phone call, I asked if this will change anything I agreed with PJG, for example secured lending and was told yes there are a few changes.

Wont be signing if there are any.
Really?

Just now on a Saturday?

They ARE keen. I'll wait for my call then [:)]

There will be changes. There must be or they wouldn't bother getting us to sign.

I'll reserve judgment until I see them.

I would imagine -- and this is a total shot in the dark that two of the changes will be to bring in the 2014 protocol, including the introduction of secured lending for equity release, and a fee hike. I am curious as to what the "carrot" will be.

All that said we need to wait until someone has had the proposed changes in writing to see what it is all about.

The fee hike was one of my thoughts too Foggy. Luckily I rent so no worries about equity release/loan for me.

However, as I have no wish whatsoever to add to the value of Pearse Flynn's ever-changing portfolio of companies they can forget about adding my signature to their conquests.

Plus I was quite happy with PJG's terms and conditions as I had arranged, so in colloquial language they can "do one" should they decide to ask me to sign anything.

Definitely not going to "wait and see" with this one. They can save themselves the cost of the postage as I doubt very highly that it is possible for them to have come up with something that is to my benefit.

Really feeling worried now worse than I felt before the IVA, after 3+ weeks I finally received an email back only after sending a very strong email although it was another fob off saying my case was being reviewed by supervisors not sure what this means!! legally what can Creditfix do if we refuse to sign new T&C'S can they fail our IVA's for not cooperating?

Oh no , why post a statement saying nothing will change? I feel really scared as i'm not sure I understand the wording really, I have no one to talk to , to ask advice or to help i have not told anyone how can we afford legal advice in an IVA?

No they cannot fail an IVA for refusing to sign new terms and conditions.

They can only ask. You don't have to sign.

Look back a few posts, Foggy refused new T&Cs during an IVA and all was well.

The experts on here are assuring us we don't have to sign.

I shall say this only once:

They cannot compel you to agree to new terms. Those in your current arrangements are binding on all parties.

Do not panic and wait to see what these proposed changes are.

Keep us all informed and we shall work through this together.
