Hi all,
I have been trying to get some default dates amended on our credit report. I have 3 creditors who have incorrect default dates which range from 1 month to 8 months after my IVA start date. Incidentally they are all banks/building societys. I have sent letters to the data controllers in May and I have not received a reply from any.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get these updated.

Has your iva concluded and do you have your completion certificate ?

If yes then persevere with the data controller, if no then wait ..... no point acting till open as creditors could continue to update each month.

Yes I completed back in April 2017, I have my completion certificate. I have also contacted one of the creditors by phone who have said they will look to get it amended but no change even after the monthly credit file updates.
Quite frustrating really.

The quickest way to get complaints resolved these days is via Social Media so that's worth a try.

I think you can follow up with a complaint here:

https://www.gov.uk/data-protection/make-a-complaint

But I would write again by registered post first and threaten to do that first.
