we have had letters today from three creditors, 2 of which are headed 'default notice'.
should we ignore them now that our iva has been agreed, or ring creditors to tell them we are now in iva.

I may be a devil, but I would take great pleasure in ringing them and ask if they can be as thorough in updating their records as they are in chasing the money

I just had to tell MBNA when my IVA was accepted, and I took great pleasure in doing so!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

This may continue for some time, as it can take a while for creditors to update their systems. You can safely ignore the letters in the meantime, or send them to your IP if you prefer.

the sense of relief knowing that the letters
are meaningless is just fantastic.
