Hi
I have just had my first review and under creditors claims it says "as per proposal" and "lodged to date" the lodged to date figure is £15,000 less than the as per proposal...does this mean my IVA total figure is 15 grand lower than I thought it was? it says below it that "that all known creditors have submitted claims"
Thanks
JPJ

Certainly sounds like final agreed claims are £15k less. I would suggest you get a breakdown from the Supervisor and compare the agreed list with the original proposal to understand where the difference arises and why.

Thanks..
Think thats the first time ive been told in my life that i might owe less instead of more![:o)]
I know the reduction doesnt help me monthly but I guess if I try a full and final settlement in year 3 it will help it look more attractive.

That's a big difference! Did the Supervisor independently verify the creditors claims before drafting your proposals?

Well I did owe £127,000 Melanie![:0] I presumed they added it up..I know I got a list in my proposal..but as I started the IVA process with Your Clear in Oct 05 and it finally went through with Haines watts in June06 I had kind of given up the will to live by then!![:(]

Perfectly understandable given the severe time delay in getting your proposal finalised!

I am trying to reclaim my bank charges to reduce the figure even further..I have only just started the process but i read somewhere that everyone is waiting for a ruling from the OFT and that all cases of bank charge refunds are on hold till then, yet the reclaim company seems to be plodding on...can Melanie or anybody shed light on this for me please? Thanks
