I have not been advised that they have sold it on as yet....they have sent me standars letters threatening to do a variety of things should I not settle the ammount owing, are they supposed to inform me if they do sell it on then?

Yes they would inform you. I got a letter last tuesday telling me they have sold mine on the eversheds, and after reading lots of other posts on here, that is quite common. It might depend on how much you owe them. I don't know

OK....Between my wife and I we have 3 separate MBNA credit cards totalling around £26,000 of debt. Whilst we have submitted 2 separate ivas they are being considered as one by the creditors. With the total debt being £160,000 that does not represent a huge percentage, but Im not sure if thats good or bad for the vote.

I'm sure you will be fine frequentflyer. It is both our big day on Monday, yours first, and then mine. Good luck to you, and good luck to me.

Thanks for the good luck debbi...I hope you do well and will be thinking of you...
Incidentally I got letters today from Eversheds stating that MBNA had sold the debt on to Max Recovery etc etc....so does that make it more likely that I will get a yes vote???

Good luck to both of you on Monday - don't forget to let us know how you get on.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
