Good luck for the 2nd... not too far away now, then you will be able to try and relax.... it's a great feeling when an IVA is accepted and the support you will get on this forum throughout will be second to none.

Hi Michael.d Welcome to the Forum. Only 1 day left to wait for the outcome! As Gemma said - they wouldn't put it forward if they didn't think there was a good chance of acceptance. I'm with PayPlan and we are working on my F&F now. Apart from delay initial wait for their response, they have been absolutely fantastic with me, so I'm sure you're in great hands! Everything crossed for you! Please come back and tell us how it went. x
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

I'm sorry to hear that Michael.

Did Payplan say why your IVA was rejected?

Thats a shame when you have an such an effort to address the problem.

We dont have problems with clients with gambling debts as long as the gambling has stopped. We regularly get IVA's accepted with gambling debts.

Michael don't let this knock you back, take a positive from it. You can propose another IVA. Talk to another company or two, explain the full circumstances. Your gambling has ceased and that in itself is a huge positive. Hang in there and do pick up the phone to discuss with others. www.iva.com is a good comparison site. I'm personally with Melanie Giles and can't fault anything about the service received.
