Today is the day. My creditors meeting is arranged for 3pm and I can't tell you how scared I am.Haven't slept all night and I'm sure the children have picked up on my stress, they cried for the first time when I dropped them at the childminders today....I have 21 month old twins.
Can anyone advise what happens if I am rejected? what is the next step? should my IP advise me further or is that the end of their obligations?
A DMP is not an option so the only way forward will be BR which would be a nightmare situation.
Any feedback would be great, as I am a nervous wreck here!!!

As over 80% of all IVAs which are submitted are accepted, I am sure that you will be fine - but if there are any problems your IP will help you through the process and explore other options with you.

Meash,my fingers and toes are crossed for you. Worrying about being rejected is natural. You say that dmp isnt an option but if your IVA doesnt go through,a dmp may settle the ship for a few months when you could retry another iva.

Good luck.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

So, if this IVA gets rejected how come I could reapply? Wouldn't the decision be automatically the same?

Hi Meash and the very best of luck for this afternoon.

I don't quite know how it works, but I do know that you can re apply. That is what I would have done if my IVA had been rejected.
I would have been DMP for a few months, then tried again.

I doubt it will come to that, as I am sure you will be accepted. It is a very worrying time though.

Let us know what the outcome is.

Positive thinking is a wonderful thing - do a spot of 'cosmic ordering' and picture getting the phone call that it was approved as clear as you can in your head. Don't allow any negative thoughts in.

Will be thinking of you and wishing you well.
