Hi
I have been reading the forum for weeks now and have finally plucked up the courage to post ( I dont normally use chat lines/forums, so this is a new experience for me). Anyhow,it is our (my hubby and myself)creditors meeting tomorrow and we are very apprehensive (an undrstatement to say the least). However, I feel that we are in good hands (Melanie`s), as we have received absolutely fabulous help and advice from her team. We have stupidly gotten into a lot of debt over the years and finally realised we just could not sustain the payments and this is why we asked Melanie for help. Fingers crossed that our IVA will be approved.

Welcome to the forum Hopefulynn. You are in some of the safest hands that you could be with Mel and her team handling your case, but nerves are all part of the application process. It will be worth it in the end though.
Good luck for a positivie outcome today.

Paul

First of all thank you all for your replies of support, I have been offline for a couple of days so could not respond sooner - just to let you all know that our IVA was approved on Thursday and Tom from Mel`s team rang to give us the good news (what a huge relief). I would just like to offer our sincere thanks to Melanie G, Hywel, Angela, Melanie N, Tom and everyone else who helped us achieve this, they are all truly amazing non judgemental people. If there is anyone else out there who needs help re an IVA, I would just like to say that I would highly recommend Melanies team as they are simply the best.
1 down 71 to go x

Thanks for those words Lynn. We were all very pleased for you, and you absolutely got the right result. 71 months to go must seem like a lifetime, but once you get the first year out of the way you can begin the countdown.
