Good luck Dominic! I'm sure everything will be fine. I made my first IVA payment today and I really feel as if I can now move on with my life.

My IVA was accepted at 27p in the pound. I have no assets apart from my car, which isn't worth enough to sell.

HI DOMINIC

I Know that I read somewhere that you had made an internet transfer from your old account to the new. I have recieved internet banking info from new new bank and transferred a little amount from my old account, just to see if it works. However it shows that the money has gone out of my old but its not showing in the new, does it take a little time or is it instant?

Hi Lily, I don't know what other people have found, but when I did a transfer from bank to bank it took 3-4 working days for the money to show in the new account.

Hello

Yes, when you do a bank transfer online it can take between 3-4 working days to reach the other bank account.

The only time it's instant is where you transfer between accounts held at the same bank.

OK THANKS

I wonder if i may ask another question. I was on the phone yesterday arranging for my credit transfers to go into my new account. Its too late for some near future ones though. I cannot afford to pay my bank loan this month (its up to date now)and my credit card is over limit due to interest they have added. Are they entitled to take the money to offset the credit card? I am thinking that me transferring money to a different bank might piss them off. should i take it all out now? I hate the thought of doing this but i need every penny at the moment to survive.
