My creditors meeting is tomorrow at 12. I am really worried about it. I am offering 30.2p in the £ to creditors. Does anyone no if this is a good offer? And what are the chances of it being accepted?
Good luck for tomorrow Chris!
I'm sure you IP must be confident with that dividend to put forward the proposal.
I've not seen anyone post on here saying they've had their proposal rejected for a good while!
When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long...the past cannot be changed. It is the present and future that counts
Hi Chris - you've got the last minute nerves that everyone gets....it will have taken a lot of work to get to this point so your IP will have ensured the best and most realistic proposal has been put forward for you. Try and think positive tonight and get some sleep we'll all be rooting for you at 12 tomorrow.

Don't worry you've got this far and that's to be commended - if it's the best on offer - and your IP should have written up the case to make sure they know it is - it'll sail through.
Mine started off slightly higher but in the end - with life changes - they got around what you're offering.
Remember somet's better than nothing
Hi Chris.84, I was in your position 9 days ago so I know how you feel.
I'm sure in 3-4 hours time everything will be OK.
I offered 35.2p in the £. Less than half of my creditors, even bothered to vote (and even then by proxy - all in favour with no modifications). So effectively 100% voted in favour (I understand the 75% creditor-vote-by-value rule only applies if that creditor bothers to vote at the MoC in the first place. Therefore any non-voting creditors are automatically included).
Still seems amazing to me, that a huge chunk of a debt that causes us all so much stress, can seemingly be so flippantly (potentially), written off by the banks etc.
Good luck, and keep us posted.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.
Hi Everyone, thanks for your kind words. I'm pleased to say my IVA has been accepted. The relief I feel now is amazing. Excited to make my first payment and start the road to recovery!! Thanks again!
