Hi
My creditors are meeting/have met at 2pm today and I am awaiting their decision as to whether they accept my full and final offer of £3k. Does anyone know how long these meetings take and how I will find out the outcome? I am soooooo anxious ...

£3k for a full and final sounds on the low side. Please can you give us some more details on your IVA proposal? Many thanks.
Best Regards
Oliver

Just thought that you are probably refering to a full and final payment of an IVA you are currently in and not a brand new IVA.

All the best with the variation, I hope you achieve a positive result.
Best Regards

The original debt was £22k and I am in year 4 of the arrangement, this means I have already paid in over £10k. The original amount expected by my debtors was £13,800 - the £3k would bring it to this amount. However, the complication was/is that I was supposed to remortgage my property in year 4 (August 07) and because it is 505 co-owned with a housing association, this was not possible. Since that time it is only with the help and support of this website that I have offered the £3k as a f&f.

Sorry to go on (and on, and on ...) but does anyone know how long a creditors meeting takes? My IP was very specific that if would be a 2pm today.

Hi desperateend,

Best of luck with the meeting, I would call your I.P and ask if there is any further progress on your proposal. Sometimes it can take a couple of hours and other times its completed the time the I.P says.
Best Regards,

I had mine today also, with payplan, they said it took place at 1pm and i heardat about 2.15pm, They intially rejected my offer and i offered abit more but I have now said i am not going to offer more as realistically i cannot afford it, I would of gone bankrupt they have now said they will reconsider my original offer and come back to me today after telling me with my new offer it would take a week ??

Very strange anyway good luck and my fingers are crossed for you, the waiting is a nightmare !
